Olde Country Winery:  News!

Irv Moen & Olde Country Winery & Vineyards are featured in a new book called Wineries of Wisconsin & Minnesota. Written by Patricia Monaghan of DePaul University and Published by The Minnesota Historical Society Press.

 

Olde Country & Irv Moen is featured on pages 90, 91, & 92. Throughout the book are quotes by Irv.

Irv even made sure Robert Mondavi was included in the history of Minnesota wines. Robert is a native of Virginia Minnesota and was a world famous wine maker. Robert Mondavi, just recently passed away. The Mondavi family moved from Italy to Virginia, Minnesota. They made their first wines in Virginia and then moved to California.

Irv Moen was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and moved to California. Irv is not yet a famous wine maker, but there is still time.

Have a great day, have a glass of wine. You might think all we do at Olde Country is work, but all we do is wine!!
